After three years of R&D, Universal Audio’s leading engineers emerged with the most sonically-authentic versions of classic tape, bucket-brigade, and digital delay hardware ever put into a pedal. Introducing Starlight Echo Station. UA’s flagship stereo delay pedal harnesses powerful UAFX dual-engine processing for unmatched vintage and modern delay effects, built to inspire for decades to come. Starlight Echo Station's Tape EP-III delivers the most complete circuit emulation of classic Early-'70s tape echo. From their incredibly musical preamp right down to the wow/flutter randomness and tape splice, every trait of the original hardware is here. Plus, users can tweak repeats with New, Used, and Worn tape machines for added color and texture. UA hand picked multiple units of vintage American bucket-brigade delays from the late-'70s/early-’80s. A faithful emulation of the entire circuit, right down to the colorful preamp and unpredictable clock rate dumping, Starlight delivers all the startling "whoosh" effects, vibrato and chorus textures, and haziness of classic bucket-brigade delay. Featuring pristine repeats with shimmering modulation effects, the Precision effect is a goldmine of modern delays. Users can easily craft with hi-fi studio-grade flange and chorusing textures and pepper their creations with ping-ponging repeats, adding movement and interest to parts. Starlight's dual-engine processing powers separate stereo instances of each delay effect. It's like having two tape or bucket-brigade hardware units running simultaneously, giving users a full stereo spread of complex, awe-inspiring spatial textures, and seamless delay effect transitions with trails. Starlight delivers modern, high-powered features like studiograde conversion, dual processing engines, Live/Preset modes, and analog dry through. Plus, with the UAFX Control app, users can select true or buffered bypass for effect trails, turn preamp coloration on/off, and customize footswitch modes.
